Shutt Velo Rapide

I've got various pairs of padded shorts and jerseys, but the best by far (and those I use for long rides where comfort is paramount) are from a new British company, who manufacture their clothes in the UK, called Shutt Velo Rapide.

If you are looking for quality kit at a great price, with the best customer service I've ever known, spend some money with these guys, you won't be disappointed! (I'm not getting google ad money, I just love the kit!)

Crud Roadracer Mudguards

Another UK company with a great product, great value and great customer service!

Crud Roadracer's don't make your sleek road bike look awful - and they cost and weigh less than the other options I had to choose from.

I was one of the first people to try these when they were launched in 2009 and raved about them to anyone that would listen on Bikeradar's forums.

I've snapped one of the stays and lost a tail piece in the past, and all you have to do is send a few stamps to Mr Crud and he'll send you a replacement part by return.

They've recently launched a mk2 version which has an extended rear guard for better coverage around the front mech.
